Welcome!

Right now we are walking through the journey toward growing our family through adoption! We are thrilled that you have come here to support our family! We look forward to sharing all that we experience in this process as the Lord leads us through. We are clinging to His grace and truth and doing our best to fulfill our part of this calling we feel God has laid on our family.

We met in High School and were friends for years before we started dating. We made it through senior year of high school and four years of college (some separated and some together) before we got married on our 5th anniversary! When we celebrate our wedding, we can also celebrate our total time together (13 years as of September 2019)! We are two very different people with different interests but as time as gone by we have found a myriad of things to do together and enjoy separately with the others' support! We are both involved at our local church and we love our church family, they are a great source of truth and encouragement in our life! We both enjoy working on our home and DIY'ing the things that we are capable of - the list is growing! In our (limited) free time Rob enjoys video games and playing the guitar while Lindsey enjoys reading and baking as a hobby!

   

We have two boys! They are a great joy to us and we are daily thankful to be their parents! They are fun, loving and adventurous. They LOVE Moana and would choose a transformer over most toys most days. They are thrilled at the idea of bringing home another child to live in our family and are so ready to love another brother or sister! 

      
We live in Michigan so we experience all the seasons and we love it! Celebrating all four seasons, especially with kids is so fun. We have a driveway to shovel in the winter with plenty of space for sledding, we have blooms the emerge every spring, a beautiful place to visit Lake Michigan in the summer and lots of trees that drop their leaves in the fall! There is always something to do and some way to get outside and enjoy the beauty of God's creation!

  

We have an awesome and supportive family and though we are a pretty small (immediate family) group, we are all close and enjoy each others' company! Our parents get along wonderfully and we often celebrate holidays and birthdays with everyone so we don't have to divide our time! These grandparents love our family and they are so excited to see who God adds through adoption. It will be such a joy for them to become grandparents again!

*We both have giant extended families so there is lots of love to share!

 

This is Oswin! She is our 6 year old Australian Shepherd. She is a wonderful girl who is full of energy! She is gentle with the kids but loves to run and chase a ball with them too!
