Full of Thanks

The holidays can cause some attention to be drawn to families, couples, and single adults with lots of questions about what's coming next. We've all experienced it in one way or another and it can be annoying when nothing is new but it can also be exciting when there is news to share!

This year we are sort of in limbo, we are thrilled and thankful to be where we are in our adoption journey but we don't have any timeline or answers as to what's next in that regard. We want to be positive, patient and abundantly thankful as we wait and see what The Lord has planned for our family. We might have an uncomfortable or sad moment when we don't have the news to share that we wanted or when things aren't changing quickly but we are looking forward to the day when we do have an announcement to make! We can't wait to see what happens by the Grace of God in the coming days, weeks, months and even years.

It's amazing to think that our child could already exist and we just don't know about or haven't met him/her yet. We are constantly in prayer that the child we bring home will always know they are forever wanted and loved and that adoption, while there is loss involved, can be a beautiful plan.

We don't know who you are yet, little one, but we can't wait to meet you!

Thanksgiving 2019 - can't wait to see what our family looks like next year!

"Let them give thanks to the LORD for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind, for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things" Psalm 107:8-9

We also want to say a giant thank you to those of you who have been praying for us, who have been purchasing the cookies from Lindsey's Custom Cakes that help fund our adoption and for those who came out to our shopping open house at Tootie and Tallulah's last weekend. We are overwhelmed by the joy and love and support that people have shown us and we can't wait to introduce all of you to the sweet little one the Lord places in our family. Thank you all so much!
